CIR Annual Day was observed on Friday, 28th March, 2014. Prof. C. Parameswaran, Director, CIR played host for not only the 45 members of the CIR family but an equal number of friends, colleagues, and well-wishers from other departments of the University. It was a grand feast with 25 delicious mouth-watering dishes served in traditional style on plantain-leaves that left everyone near pot-bellied, the taste lingering in the mouth for hours.
Visitors included Dean Engineering, Dr. M.P.Chandrasekharan, Prof. S. G. Kulkarni, Dr. Shantanu Bhowmik, all brahmacharis & other distinguished guests and people who support CIR effort in organising programmes.
