CIR is happy to announce the induction of Mr. N.V.Rajeev as Research Scientist. His profile is given below:
Mr. N.V.Rajeev is a proven engineer having 20 years of experience in design and development of Robotic and Automation Systems which involved Large Scale Software Development as well as application of advanced technologies from multidisciplinary fields of Engineering Design, Manufacturing, Process Automation, Modeling, Simulation and Testing. He obtained his master degree (M.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Kerala and started his career as a Researcher in CEERI (CSIR), Pilani in 1994. He worked as a Researcher in various other prestigious organizations including Centre for AI and Robotics, DRDO, Bangalore, Autonomous Intelligent Systems Lab (AiS), German National Research Institute (GMD), St.Augustin, Germany and Samsung Techwin, Seongnam, South Korea. He has wide range of R & D experience in designing and developing software for Robotic Systems, Industrial Automation Systems, Military Equipments and Medical Instruments.
Some of his Major Projects are:
1. Design and Development of Real-time Machine Control Software for High Precision PCB Assembly Line Machines such as SAMSUNG’s Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Machine EXCENPRO
2. Design and Development of Robotic Non-destructive Test (NDT) Equipments for Nuclear Reactor
3. Design and Development of Robotic Aircraft Part Inspection System for HAL, Bangalore
4. Design and Development of Industrial Process Monitoring/Control Systems
His Research interests include:
