As part of the corporate training initiatives by CIR, a one day training workshop on change-sensitization was conducted for the senior-managers of the Indoshell Cast, Pvt.Ltd. Coimbatore on 11.01.2015. The programme was entitled “Know and Reinvent Yourself to Meet the Future Challenges”. The programme consisted of three phases i.e. identifications of core personal values, setting personal goals and creating a vision for the future organization. The programme was activity driven and the participants were fully involved in all the processes.
The goal of the training was to:
• Sensitize the senior management team about the need for organizational change and development in this fast moving technologically advanced and customer driven world of business.
• Impress up on them the need for personal development and continuous learning to be able to support the organizational growth.
• To know one’s own core personal values and its influence on their behaviors.
• To set personal goals based on personal values.
• To think about and envision the future of the organization.
This programme sensitized the participants to be aware and be ready for the challenges associated with organizational change. This programme also has brought out the vision the senior managers have for the future organization which will help the top management to create a powerful vision for the future organization. The training session was facilitated by Dr. Madhu Menon, Chief Manager (Learning and development), Corporate and Industry Relations (CIR).
